Zola Ramirez

"I began puppeteering with my brother, Sol Ramirez, when I was around 4. I help with preforming, building, choreography, painting, and costume design. While my life goals lie outside the art realm, I am grateful to have such a positive outlet to be creative, share stories, and have my art seen. I love that puppetry is truly an art of dramatic syncretism, as it flawlessly brings together all the best forms of modern creativity."

Jasper Schmoock

“I joined 1, 2, 3 Puppetry when I was in middle school through my friendship with Sol. Despite not having a pre-existing interest in theater, I grew to appreciate the camaraderie that developed among the cast each year, as well as the mental challenge of performing in front of a live audience. Sol is a passionate and creative director who truly makes every show personal and fun. Overall, it was a great experience that I look back on fondly!"
